Amani thought it would be interesting to display some suggestions, questions, and comments that are placed in the box inside the store along with our responses.
"You should do poetry slams." Amani is currently looking for someone to keep an events calendar. This includes scheduling poetry and music events. If you know of anyone wishing to volunteer 2 hours a week please call Terra at Amani at 412-322-0647
"You should recycle." Amani would love to recycle and is currently looking for a holding place to do so. Unfortunately, the basement is not a good holding place for an entire week. To reiterate, Amani is working to solve this problem.
"This is a nice coffeehouse but very expensive." Amani was and has always been purposeful in pricing several cents lower than the competition. Amani has gone all over the city of Pittsburgh and priced other coffeeshops. Additonally, Amani is the home of the “Triple Shot” latte. Meaning Amani is giving you 3 shots of espresso at no additional charge when all other coffeehouses are giving just 2 shots of espresso.
"I love your coffeehouse." This is just what the Northside needs. THANKS!
